The beach the hotel is on is amazing.
The beach the hotel is on is amazing. So beautiful and the longest on the island. There are a number of restaurants along the beach and it is a close walk to another strip of restaurants. The local people are great and will go out of their way to help you.
The staff was extremely disorganized. Even though I had booked in advance and had been emailing the owner for weeks, they were still unprepared for our arrival. We had reserved a master suite but were put in a room with two single beds which lacked clean running water. The room we were moved to was a bit better but still wasn't what we were initially promised. They also weren't very reliable when we had questions, but did provide us with a great local tour guide (Fabio) who took us snorkeling.

Hotel Sirius is situated right on one of the best island...
Hotel Sirius is situated right on one of the best island beaches. Just a few minutes' walk is Richard's, a bar on the beach that serves the most amazing cocktails at sunset. Hotel manager Paulino was extremely helpful and hooked us up with everything we could possibly need during our stay: scooter delivered right to our door, horseback riding, and a private snorkeling trip. The bathroom was a bit outdated but our room was kept spotless by the housekeeping staff.
The breakfast never changed, and after 8 days we grew quite tired of it and went elsewhere.
